First of all, if you are interested in a referral to an FCT practitioner in Europe, you have come to the right place. Secondly, for contact details of people who practise FCT in your area - since there is not yet an official referral list (see below) you can in the meantime send me an email or private message. Please also read on and I will explain why we have not yet put a referral list online.

People that have contacted me seeking FCT referrals:

There have been many requests now, for quite some years, for referrals to FCT practitioners in Europe. I live in Ireland, and have been personally contacted by phone or email on innumerable occasions by people seeking to be referred to their nearest FCT practitioner.

If you are one of these people, thank you for making the request, because I do believe you are doing the right thing, and seeking help in the right place and of the right kind. I do not say this lightly, because FCT is grounded in a pragmatic and sensible philosophy of health, and before I learned FCT I was many times grieved to see how very many places people went to, seeking help for their ills, but, in return, being often further meddled with and made sicker, instead of healthier.

It is my basic - and hard-won - view that when seeking to help anyone who is unhealthy to become healthy again, everything rests on taking a sensible, intelligent and wise approach. It's not a matter of the right substance. Let me repeat: it's not a matter of the right substance. . . It's a matter of the right approach, the right understanding of what makes people healthy and what makes them sick. You won't believe how many times I've wished someone had pointed this out to me ten years sooner! That's why I have since become so interested in public awareness and educational projects.

Our efforts to seed a community of FCT practitioners in Europe:

Next, I would like to point out that until recently there was nobody in Europe, that I knew of, practising FCT. Dr Yurkovsky, the creator of FCT, lives in the USA, and before 2004 had not taught his FCT curriculum outside the USA.

I had been a patient of his in the USA since 2002, and wanted passionately not only to learn this fabulous new system of medicine, but more importantly I felt it would be a wonderful thing if a whole community of practitioners of FCT could be seeded in Europe.

So ever since Dr Yurkovsky's first visit to teach in Europe in 2004, on my invitation, I and many others have been working with him towards achieving this, step by step. Believe me, if you want FCT for yourself or someone you know, and feel you need the help desperately, and by someone near to you - I have already heard this many times from people in desperate need of such help, since years before it was available - and it always hurt me inside a great deal that I could not offer the help that was needed.

This has been a driving motivation for me to try and change this, but it was not possible to make these changes overnight. So please be patient! We are much nearer to achieving this goal now than we were two years ago. Actually, the good news is that the goal has pretty much been achieved already, as it is at present in the final stages of culmination.

The full training of the first generation of European FCT practitioners:

If you go to the forum on this page titled "Events and Training" (where it explains in much more detail what different stages of training have been put in place for learning FCT), there is not as yet a "List of Practitioners". This forum is located at:

www.fctforums.com/viewforum.php?f=11

There will be in the future, and it will become available online at a new international FCT website which we are currently creating for this and other educational purposes.

At present we are in the process of taking our first core group of about 25 of our most advanced students through the final stages of the full practice training programme. Once this is complete, we'll be able to erect our first official referral list online. For now, and in the meantime, referrals can still be made to all the same people, but not as official practitioners, only as advanced student practitioners.

Level of expertise of the FCT advanced student practitioners:

This advanced group of FCT students has reached a very high standard of understanding and expertise, and constitutes the first generation of FCT practitioners in Europe. They will have completed a full certification programme via seminars with Dr Yurkovsky combined with the practice training programme with myself and Kevin Eakins.

Among the group, some of these advanced student practitioners have progressed further than others clinically. In other words, some have been treating patients with FCT in their clinics for a long time already, while at the other end of the spectrum there are some students who have recently been taking their first real case studies.

Whatever the case may be, you are welcome to contact me to obtain contact details of those nearest to your area, and then make your own inquiries after that.

No referrals, at present, are validated officially, nor can they be taken as recommendations officially, simply because we have not quite completed the official certification programme.

Where are these FCT advanced student practitioners located? Are there any in XYZ country?

Most of this group of advanced FCT student practitioners is divided, at present, between Britain and Ireland.

Please note that although we have had students of FCT in many other countries, none have so far progressed in their studies to an advanced stage by following the practice training programme, so if you need a referral for FCT, it is currently only possible (until further notice) if you are in (or willing to travel to) Britain, Ireland or, of course, the USA.

There is certainly a lot of interest in FCT in many parts of Europe, and Dr Yurkovsky is very keen to teach FCT to students from all around Europe. So even if you are a healthcare practitioner in another European country, outside Britain and Ireland, do please consider taking up the FCT training curriculum. Or if you know a healthcare practitioner in another European country, do please encourage them to train in FCT, even if it involves travelling to Britain for courses. We need to extend the network of practitioners to whom we can refer patients for FCT, as the demand for FCT remains very high.

Until now, it has been necessary to concentrate our training efforts in Britain and Ireland, to establish a firm foundation here, and complete the first full practice training programme. However, we would certainly like to help students in other countries as well, so that FCT can become available more widely.

Finally, if you would like to be treated by the most experienced and skilled practitioner of all, the master of FCT, I would strongly recommend you contact Dr Yurkovsky directly in New York, wherever you live. Remember it is not difficult to fly to New York for a visit, and on an ongoing basis FCT can usually be continued at a distance via phone consultations if you live far away from New York.

In addition, of course, there are other very advanced FCT practitioners in the USA - including, of course, Dr Ou himself! - this thread is only concentrating on options in Europe.

If you have any further general queries or comments regarding FCT practitioners in Europe, beyond what I have covered above, feel free to reply to this post.
